Welcome to Jopuko. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our dog walking and training services. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

Jopuko provides professional dog walking and training services including but not limited to:

  • Regular Dog Walking: Scheduled daily or weekly walks tailored to your dog's needs and energy levels
  • Professional Dog Training: Obedience training, behavioral modification, and specialized training programs
  • Exercise and Socialization: Group walks and individual attention to ensure your pet's physical and mental wellbeing
  • Progress Reports: Regular updates on your dog's behavior, health observations, and training milestones

2. Client Responsibilities

As a client of Jopuko, you agree to the following responsibilities:

Health and Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be current on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and kennel cough. Proof of vaccination must be provided prior to service commencement. Dogs must be in good health and free from contagious diseases or parasites.

  • Provide accurate information about your dog's temperament, medical conditions, and behavioral issues
  • Ensure your dog is properly licensed and registered according to local regulations
  • Supply appropriate equipment including leashes, collars, harnesses, and any specialized gear
  • Inform us immediately of any changes to your dog's health, behavior, or medication
  • Maintain current emergency contact information and veterinary details

3. Booking and Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change. Our booking and cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both clients and our professional staff:

  1. Booking: Services must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings may be accommodated subject to availability.
  2. Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% service fee. Cancellations made less than 6 hours before scheduled service will be charged in full.
  3. No-Shows: Failure to provide access to your dog at the scheduled time without prior notice will result in full charge of the service.
  4. Weather Conditions: In cases of severe weather, we reserve the right to modify or cancel services for the safety of our staff and your pets.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due according to the following terms:

  • Individual walks are payable at the time of service or via pre-arranged invoicing
  • Package deals and training programs require payment in advance or according to agreed payment plans
  • Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per week on outstanding balances
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and approved digital payment platforms
  • All prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice to existing clients

5. Liability and Insurance

Jopuko maintains comprehensive liability insurance for all services provided. However, clients should be aware of the following:

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your dog, you acknowledge that dog walking and training activities carry inherent risks. Jopuko is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or incidents that occur due to pre-existing conditions, undisclosed behavioral issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog to third parties, other animals, or property during our care. We strongly recommend that clients maintain their own pet insurance coverage.

6. Emergency Procedures

In the event of a medical emergency, Jopuko staff are authorized to seek immediate veterinary care for your dog. We will make every effort to contact you immediately, but will not delay necessary treatment. You agree to be responsible for all veterinary costs incurred during emergency treatment.

7. Behavioral Issues and Service Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate our agreement if your dog displays aggressive behavior that poses a risk to our staff, other dogs, or the public. In such cases, we will provide written notice and may recommend alternative specialized services. Any prepaid services will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and maintain information about you and your dog necessary to provide our services. This information is kept confidential and used solely for service delivery, communication, and emergency purposes. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

9. Intellectual Property

All training materials, methods, and content provided by Jopuko remain our intellectual property. Photos and videos taken during services may be used for marketing purposes unless you specifically opt out in writing.

10. Amendments to Terms

Jopuko reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
